1. Collection and Processing of Data

We collect and process personal data that you provide via our entry form or within the career portal. Additionally, we collect and process data that arises during the use of our website. The processing of your data is in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG). Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Below, we inform you in detail about the types of data we process, the manner of processing, and the legal basis for this processing. We also inform you about your rights and the duration of data storage.

2. Processing of Personal Data When Using Our Career Portal

Applicants can apply for jobs or submit unsolicited applications and request to store their data for up to 12 months in our applicant pool. Any data given within the registration process and the career portal will be used by Mibau Stema Group GmbH as described below:

Applications for Mibau Stema Group GmbH:

Personal data and application documents you provide are processed on the legal basis of Sec. 26 BDSG. This provision allows the processing of data necessary in the context of employment decisions. If your data is required after the application process, we may continue to process it to enforce our rights, based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR if we have a legitimate interest. In case of refusal, we delete your data after 3 months unless you consent to the storage in our applicant pool.

Consent to Storage and Processing in Applicant Pool:

If you consent to store your data in our applicant pool, it will be stored for up to 12 months and then deleted unless there is a legal obligation or right to continue storage. If you applied successfully for a job, we will delete your data only after 12 months as part of our routine deletion process.

Withdrawal of Consent:

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. If you withdraw your application or delete your account, we will delete your personal data within two weeks, provided you have not submitted multiple applications.

3. Processing of Data via Cookies and Logfiles

Our career portal uses cookies to provide full functionality. Cookies are small files that store information about your access device. You can find detailed information about our use of cookies on our Cookies Policy page. You may accept or disable cookies via your browser settings, but note that disabling cookies may limit your use of the portal. We also use log files to save access data for statistical analyses and to detect errors. Log files enable further development of our webpages and are used only in anonymized form.

7. Period of Data Storage and Routine Deletion
