Certifications: Sets High internal requirements and regular audits by third parties

Various standards and norms contribute to our continuous development quality, sustainability and climate protection.

Our quarries in Norway are already certified in the 3 ISO system standards:

  • (BS) EN ISO 9001 (quality management)
  • (BS)EN ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety)
  • (BS)EN ISO 14001 (environmental management)

Furthermore, the quarries are working towards EN ISO 50001(energy management) certification. We are also working towards certification of the EN ISO 9001 quality management system for the sales and logistics companies.

For the Dutch market, we hold BRL 9324 certification for use in unbound applications. This means that we meet the requirements for soil quality.

The technical management company of the shipping fleet, HJH ship management, has been DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001 certified for several years.

Sustainable construction with CSC-certified aggregates

CSC (Concrete Sustainability Council) certification is a global standard, that is gaining increasing recognition. It promotes transparency about the impact of the manufacturing process for the full value chain of products used in concrete. It also considers the impact on the social and ecological environment. It has already been recognised by the DGNB system (German Sustainable Building Council) for the assessment of sustainable buildings. In the 2nd half of 2022, we aim to achieve CSC certification as a supplier of heavy building materials.
